June 10, 2026 — Danaher Corporation (NYSE:DHR) announced the completion of its $9.9 billion all-cash acquisition of Masimo (Nasdaq:MASI), a global leader in non-invasive patient monitoring technology.
First announced in February 2026, the deal values Masimo at $180 per share. After shareholder approval in May, the transaction officially closed on June 10. Masimo now operates as a wholly-owned, standalone subsidiary within Danaher’s Diagnostics segment, retaining its original brand, R&D team and full product lines including pulse oximeters, AI monitoring systems and wearable W1 medical smartwatch.
The acquisition fills Danaher’s long-term gap in bedside continuous vital sign monitoring, extending its capability from lab diagnostics to full acute care clinical scenarios. Leveraging Danaher’s global commercial network and DBS operation system, Masimo will accelerate worldwide market expansion across Southeast Asia, Middle East and Latin America.
Danaher confirmed no revisions to its full-year 2026 financial guidance, with minimal revenue contribution from Masimo in Q2 2026. Industry analysts point out this landmark merger reshapes the global patient monitoring landscape, shifting medtech competition toward integrated diagnostic & monitoring total clinical solutions.
